GUNS AND ROSES

MEN AND THEIR TOYS  ---  In 1964, I believed nice girls wouldn’t do it and only hardened criminals would do drugs.

In 1965, I believed nice girls could do it and my Psychology professor told us about college experimental programs with students and LSD.

He also told us to think about the impotency symbolized by men’s excessive interest in guns and motorcycles.  Needing an engine between their legs and to ‘shoot’ with and all.  It was a worthwhile Saturday informal class conversation in 1965.
