Future Court Closures Avoided Under Agreement Reached March 12 The Oregon Ways and Means committee and Oregon Chief Justice Paul De Muniz have reached an agreement to allow state courts to be open on Fridays through the end of this biennium. Budget constraints had forced the courts to change to a four-day work week, but the new agreement allows them to return to normal operating schedules for the immediate future.

There is a campaign to get the union at OJD. Strong opposition at Washington County. Pressure from management not to speak about the union possibly focusing on those that want to bring union in. It is getting ugly.
